It is interesting how art materials work in different conditions. I did these painted drawing boards over the last two weeks in as I am sure many of you know extremely hot conditions. Here is a little trick to keep your pallet from turning into the Sahara Desert . I put some wet paper towels down on a shallow pan and put a piece of wax paper over the top. The wax paper absorbs the water but at a much slower rate keeping your paint from drying out. Look for my follow up post this winter when I give you tips on how to paint in sub-zero temperatures.

June 5th is national drawing day. Go over their web site and be part of the fun. All you have to do is make a drawing and post it on your favorite social network site. Don’t worry you don’t have to be an artist to participate. Its just for fun! And yes artists are weirdos. We actually enjoy stuff like this. Thanks for asking!
This is my piece for the space 242 gallery show circus themed show. It measures 22t x 14w x 6d. It took a better part of the last month to complete. I wish I had the know how and technology for this to take quarters and give fortunes. My idea was to create a sideshow arcade machine that was so creepy that your friends would dare you to try it. Thank you mr glue gun for all the help I couldn’t have done it without you. Also you can have the kitchen table back hun and we can start eating dinner at the table and not on t.v. trays. I am glad that my family is willing to suffer with me for the art. Thanks guys!
